Colin took his first ride on the lawn mower the other day. He enjoyed it and did not want to get off!

Colin turned 11 months old on Monday. He is on the verge of walking, but gets every where he wants to. He loves music and likes to sing along with songs. He eats anything and everything! We have been able to go outside a lot more lately. He enjoys the grass now and likes watching Savannah fetch. We are going to do swimming lessons in June so he can get familiar with the water.

Colin wasn't too excited about the grass. It took him quite a while to warm up to it. Once he realized he could pull it out..... It went into his mouth!!!

Spring Day at the Park

Yesterday was a beautiful day, so Colin and I ventured to the park for a walk and Colin's first go on the swing set. He even let me put his sunglasses on him. He doesn't enjoy the stroller much unless it is moving! We had a fun time at the park, then we went and got Colin's haircut. Matt thinks that I asked for a high and tight. I will get some photos of the new summer haircut soon.

San Antonio

Matt and I went to San Antonio this past weekend. We had a wonderful time. The weekend was fast, but we certainly enjoyed ourselves and really liked San Antonio. We did the regular tourist stuff - wax museum, Ripleys Believe it or Not, the Alamo, and so on. We stayed on the Riverwalk and it was beautiful. Here are some photos from the weekend. Colin stayed with my parents and we were VERY happy to see him when we got home.

Colin-tainment

Colin was 10 months old yesterday. He is currently trying to beat a double ear infection. He has been on medicine for over 2 weeks now. He goes back on Wednesday for a check up to see if things have cleared up.

Colin lifts himself up on all the furniture now and walks around the furniture. He is getting brave and goes from one piece to another. The sharp edge on the fireplace is our enemy. He claps when others do , he loves pat-a- cake and books. Colin also makes a kissing noise when you ask him for a kiss. He eats all solid foods and takes about 5 bottles a day. His naps are getting shorter but his night time routine is good. He certainly recognizes faces! This weekend Matt was gone for a ROTC weekend and Colin certainly knew when he got home. He is a very nosey baby and when we walks through a store, Colin will wave at people.

It Is All Over Now!

Colin is ready to take on the gorilla again...this time he may actually realize he is there.

Colin started pulling himself up on the fireplace yesterday. He thinks it is really funny. He also got himself stuck in the entry table. His rear-end is too big =) We have been home for the last couple days because Colin was diagnosed with an ear infection on Monday. He made it almost 10 months with out an antibiotic, we think that is pretty good. The weather is finally supposed to get nice this weekend so we are hoping for a trip to the zoo soon. We need to update our pictures with the Gorilla.
