 After Santa stopped!
 Colin opening his new Leapster
Ryan woke with a 102 degree temp on Christmas morning.
No pajamas, but a diaper and his new vacuum
Dad opening his new Nike Fit Band
Colin and Matt getting ready to go outside at Grandma and Grandpa Steele's house
 Savannah enjoying the cold snow
Aunt Melissa feeding Ryan some yummy yogurt.

 Mom and Dad!
Ryan put his brand new snow suit on in Minnesota right after his nap.  He was not very happy aboout being taken outside and thrown in a cold batch of wet snow.  Since then he is enjoying the snow a little bit more.
Colin going down the hill at The Minnesota House, backwards
This is the best picture I could get of the two of them together.
Merry Christmas from the Steeles

Thanksgiving in sunny San Diego!

Morning breakfast at the hotel! Due to Ryan's attachment issues, he would yell MOM across the restaurant while I was at the buffett line.  We are still dealing with his extreme love for his mom! :-)
Shamu Show at Sea World.  The boys had fun, but still aren't quite as interested in things as Matt and I are.  Ryan was afraid of Shamu (understood) he settled down as the show went one.  Colin got a little grumpy after a few hours at Sea World...all he wanted to do the whole week was swim at the hotel.  It was only 70 degrees, but the pool was heated.  Ryan's lips were blue, but neither of them would give up the pool.

Coronado Island

Ryan's first experience in the ocean!

He was afraid of Shamu, but he wanted to pet the seagulls!
The Ryan BackPack was a God Send that week!  He was on Matt's back 90% of the time!

We went to an area where between high and low tide you could look at the sea creatures and find lots of living organisms.  We were there for 5 minutes and a big tide came up and Matt and the boys were stuck on the rock that is pictured below.  Matt was very calm and grabbed Colin by the arm to lift him out of the water, Ryan just remained on his back.  One family lost there camera bag and all of their shoes in the tide.  I ran....

Thanks to facebook, we realized that our good friends Lauren and Justin Bond were in San Diego at the same time we were.  They were kind enough to come to our hotel so we could hang out for a while before we left.  The boys had lots of fun with Luca and Harper Bond.

Brotherly Love

Colin and Ryan enjoying a snack!  The boys get along great, Ryan calls Colin "Call-ee" - it sounds a lot like get away too!  Ryan loves to be in Colin's room and anywhere Colin is.  Ryan is very sweet to follow him around and want to do what he is doing.  Colin is sweet in return letting him play with his toys and likes to have a friend in the basement with him.

Fall Wedding

My cousin Joel was married in October in Norhthern Iowa.  We stayed in a hotel and the cousins all got to swim together.  They didn't want to stay at the reception, they just wanted to swim.  The top picture is the entire gang (except new baby Tessa, Allan and Korrina's newest addition)

LONG TIME - Halloween

It has been so long that I posted, I had to look up my password.  It hasn't been a full year, so that is good.  Poor Ryan will certainly have second child syndrome.  I am going to start with the pics and try to remember what was going on!

Halloween
Savannah and Nalo - the cat would play with the little pumpkins this year like they were a toy and Savannah chewed on them like they were a treat :-)

Colin had a stomach bug on Halloween.  I think that is worse than having it on Christmas.  He couldn't go get a bag of candy with all of his friends / cousins.  By the end of the day he was feeling better, so we made it to Grandma and Grandpa Hughes's house for a little bit.

Soccer Time!

This year Colin is on a new team and a new coach.  He is one of the older boys on the team, and he likes that.  When he moves up to the U8 group next year, it will be a SHOCK!

Colin, Trace Johnson, Mason Koehler, Brynn Simmons, Mya Schau, Abby Hiller
Ryan, MAD, HOT AND SICK OF BEING IN HIS STROLLER!!!
The team!

First Day of Pre-K

Colin's first day of school this year was a success!  He is loving it so far.  His teachers name is Mrs. Griffin.  His favorite thing is recess so far and really enjoys going everyday.  The days are getting colder but he does not want to give up his summer shorts.  He has told me, "I already know how to read, but myteacher is teaching me about bubbles, so that is cool."  :-)
