Colin and Savannah

Colin is rolling all over the place and trying to crawl. It is almost time for a gate. He is getting to places a lot faster than I think he can! Savannah's world is about to change. Her tolerance of Colin may change real soon.

First REAL Haircut!

Colin went to a local beautician today for his first real haircut. He did REALLY good. She was even able to use the clippers around his ears. She took off quite a bit of hair. He looks like such a little man now.

Battling Winter

Colin does not enjoy winter quite yet. Maybe in a few years he will be able to appreciate the snow. Last week we ended up in the ER with a case of Croup. Now that Matt and I know what it is we certainly know how to identify it. The seal like cough was not fun to listen to and made us feel so helpless for Colin. He had a high temp and just wasn't himself, he was actually crying. So, after the Dr gave him a shot of steroids he was doing a lot better. We are still fighting a little cold, but nothing like last week.

Movie Time

It has been a long time since I have posted a video of Colin. He is doing so many things now - sitting up, babbling, and laughing really hard at times. So here is some footage of him playing with a toy that his friend Luca left here Saturday night. It is supposed to be a learning toy, but I think it is preparing him for the casino.

It Has Been A Long Time!

Colette and Anne at sunset - last night
Me by myself at sunset...Matt not feeling well!!!

New Years Eve (it got cold at night)

Off to the races!!! Andy was looking for the fastest horse.

John Elway of the Denver Broncos playing horse shoes...he was staying at our resort.

Christmas at the Steele's
2 feet of snow in Minneapolis....80 degrees in Mexico

Since the last time we wrote we have had Christmas, New Years, and Matt and I went to Mexico. Colin spent a week in Minnesota with his Grandma and Grandpa Steele. He was very spoiled - all attention on him for 5 days (not that he is ever lacking attention). Christmas was wonderful and so was our trip, but it is always nice to get home.

Matt and I went to Mexico with my cousin Colette and her husband Andy. While there, Colette and I enjoyed massages while Andy and Matt went deep sea fishing. We also took a 3 hour horse back ride on the beach and into the mountains....this was a great idea on Saturday, but wasn't that appealing on New Years Day when we went. Matt was a champ on horse back while battling heat exhaustion, that caught up with him later in the day. He is finally feeling better today (Friday). Oh MEXICO!
