Lake of the Ozark's

Colin and his new friend Delaney. Delaney and her cousin helped with Colin all weekend.
Don't worry, we were still in the dock during this picture. We didn't just let him crawl around the boat.

Matt and Colin enjoying a quiet morning on the lake.

Colin was so tired the boat put him right to sleep. He took an hour nap while mom and dad skied.

I had never seen Matt ski, I was very impressed! Those summers in Wisconsin certainly paid off. He was showing off for everyone. Colin missed most of it though, since he was sleeping.
We are so grateful that the Esterling's invited us to their home. We had a wonderful time at the lake. Colin did a great job and everyone was very helpful with him. He was not in the mood to sleep much though, Mom and Dad were awake before 6 each morning. We got home at a reasonable time yesterday, just enough time for Matt to mow the yard and me to unpack. It was a fun Memorial Day Weekend.

A Weekend Outside

New Texture to feel and lick!
Colin's hair is going to look like this anytime we are outside...this is the result of sunscreen.

This weekend the whole family spent the majority of our time outside. Matt and I did yard work while Colin enjoyed the weather. Savannah finally realized that Matt and I were too busy to throw the Frisbee for her so she started to take it to Colin. This wasn't good, because Colin thought he should put it in his mouth too! All and all a good relaxing weekend.

Mowing the Yard

Colin took his first ride on the lawn mower the other day. He enjoyed it and did not want to get off!

Take a closer look at this one....he has Savannah's tongue

The hundreds of toys just are not as fun as the blinds!!!
Colin turned 11 months old on Monday. He is on the verge of walking, but gets every where he wants to. He loves music and likes to sing along with songs. He eats anything and everything! We have been able to go outside a lot more lately. He enjoys the grass now and likes watching Savannah fetch. We are going to do swimming lessons in June so he can get familiar with the water.

Sun, Finally!

Colin wasn't too excited about the grass. It took him quite a while to warm up to it. Once he realized he could pull it out..... It went into his mouth!!!
Colin likes to rub his face on Savannah as if she is a stuffed animal.

Standing on his own!!! Soon we shall walk.
