Durham Museum - Grandma Mary

On March 24, 2012 my Grandma Morrison passed away.  She was such an amazing lady and always such a happy person.  Colin really enjoyed her and I was nervous how he would take the news about Grandma's death.  When I told him Grandma had gone to heaven, he replied, "That's great, now she can see Grandpa Jack again."  It is amazing how young ones can turn a sad situation into a happy one.  He has brought us great joy and during the funeral he had many questions, but he still remembers Grandma for the fun times they had, like playing volleyball with a balloon and watching the birds from her window.  We love and miss you Grandma.
During this time, the boys and I took my mom on an outing to the Durham Museum!  We had a great time  and Colin and Mom shared malts at the 'soda shop'.

Easter 2012

Easter 2012 was a lot of fun. Colin gets so excited about the Easter Bunny and the amount of candy he gets.  He didn't understand why Ryan didn't get any candy and so amazed that the Easter Bunny knows that baby's can't have candy.

Dominican Republic

Matt and I went to the Dominican Republic for a wedding in March. It was a wondeful trip and we would leave again tomorrow if we could, we would take the boys this time though. :-) Thanks for the photos Tony!

Wanning Visit

This weekend the Wannings came to visit from Minnesota. Colin was so excited to have someone spending the night. Colin and Whitney are a year apart and play really well together. Colin got to show her all of his basketball hoops and she was able to watch him play. I am not sure she ever got to shoot.

Outdoor Fun

March 31st and I had to put sunblock on Ryan and limit his time outside. He loves being outside, just not too sure about the grass.

We had a wonderful weekend outside. On Saturday Matt mowed the lawn, dug a new fire-pit and just enjoyed the weather.

My Little Pirate

When ever I get the camera out Ryan tends to make a pirate face, he has been doing it since he could smile. Maybe he is afraid that the giant black lens is going to attack him.

Spring Day at the Zoo

Since the spring weather has been so wonderful this year, we were able to do outside exhibits at the zoo much earlier than we ever have before. We took a Saturday afternoon with the Cook's and the Cain's and had a wonderful time. There were about 5,000 other people at the zoo that day, but we had fun.

Ryan gets to see the gorilla up close. Still too young to be afraid of him, what a great age to go to the zoo.

Corey and Matt discussing how they would shoot the ducks....Jake stuck in the middle.
Oh look, it is Michelle and Jen!
